BALERS FOR RECYCLING PLASTIC
The UK uses over 5 million tonnes of plastic a year, with plastic packaging accounting for approximately 35%. By sorting, baling and recycling plastic in a Mil-tek baler, you can reduce your waste costs by up to 80% and help protect the environment. Mil-tek’s unique method of constant pressure can reduce the volume of plastic to less than 10% of its original size. By using a Plastic Bag Stand to sort and store plastic packaging, low volumes of cardboard and plastic can be baled using one small footprint Mil-tek baler.

There are several different types of plastic, if you are unsure which type of plastic waste you generate, please contact us on freephone 0800 083 5713. Alternatively the table below gives a simple guide to help you identify and recycle the plastic waste in your business, all of which can be baled in a Mil-tek Baler. The most common plastic used for packaging is LDPE, this can be segregated and baled by colour, or baled mixed. In large volumes bales can also earn revenue, to check current market prices, visit www.letsrecycle.com/prices/plastics.
