Revolutionary pneumatic technology combined with a small physical footprint. Faster, more powerful, and more efficient than ever before.
The A102 baler is the third generation of Mil-tek pneumatic machines. It features cutting-edge pneumatic technology that uses compressed air through the cylinder to press and release the pressing plate.A double-acting cylinder both reduces power usage and increases the pressing force of the machine, resulting in bales of up to 40kg cardboard and 100kg plastic. On top of being our most powerful baler, the A102 has a range of other smart features, including a bale-out indicator, an inbuilt banding cutter and a stroke counter for easy maintenance.A floorspace footprint of just 0.45m² means that A102 can seamlessly slot into any working environment, from a small storeroom to a large industrial facility.
The Radisson Blu Hotel, Doha have improved their waste handling process with the help of a sustainable Mil-tek solution. They have reduced the time spend handling waste by 85%.
Ruby Tuesday have revolutionised their waste handling process with the help of a both a Mil-tek cardboard baler and general compactor, reducing their waste and improving back-door security.
Burger King in Belfast has been partnering with Mil-tek for over 10 years. A 102 Baler is used in conjunction with an XP 100 to ensure waste handling is done neatly and efficiently.
A Mil-tek technician will guide you through installation, which is done by simply connecting your new A102 Baler to a compressed air supply. You are now ready to start minimizing your waste.
Fill the chamber with cardboard or plastic and close the door. Once the handle is pressed down, the machine is activated and the minimizing has begun. Repeat until the baler is full.
A Mil-tek consultant will guide you in making this decision. What you need to know is the approximate amount of e.g. cardboard you generate every day, in what stream and in what sizes it comes. In addition to this you should know how much space you have available for a machine. This basic information combined with your business set-up forms the basis for evaluating which model machine you need.
Your internal working processes and the data available on your waste streams will provide you with that answer. Together with Mil-tek, we will ensure you find the optimal spot in your workplace.
Yes it is. Over the last number of years Mil-tek have been a part of a Health and Safety Executive committee that has been committed to creating new improved standards for the safe use of vertical balers. As a result we have made a significant number of improvements to the model A102 in order to comply with EN16500 standards and to ensure safe use for the end-user. As they are air-powered (pneumatic) rather than hydraulic, Mil-tek balers are extremely quiet (<70 dB). If you have an existing air-line you simply plug the machine and then your existing compressor acts as the engine. If you need to have a compressor installed, a Mil-tek technician will ensure that the compressor is placed at a distance from the machine and then install an air-hose between the compressor and the machine.
Ideal for baling plastic packaging typically used in the transportation and protection of clothing and consumable items. Constant pressure ensures an extremely dense bale is produced that is both easy to handle and easy to recycle. The baler can also be used to recycle smaller volumes of cardboard in small and medium-sized supermarkets, convenience stores and general retail outlets.
A constant flow of ingredients arriving in cardboard boxes can account for up to 60% of kitchen waste. The small-footprint A102 baler fits neatly indoors or out to enable baling and recycling of cardboard and plastic. The result is a reduction in waste disposal costs, a reduction in the amount of space designated to waste and a reduction in the number of bin collections and lift frequency.
The A102 baler has a door opening that is ideal for food and wine boxes. The baler can be located indoors, close to the waste source or outside if space is limited. Being air-powered, the baler can safely be placed in an area where food is prepared or goods are unpacked as there is no risk of hazardous oil spillage. An insert can also be supplied to crush cans and tins with a capacity of up to 30 litres; typical for food, paint or oil cans.
