The A205 baler is the third generation of Mil-tek pneumatic balers, featuring cutting-edge pneumatic technology that uses compressed air through the cylinder to press and release the pressing plate.Running exclusively on compressed air avoids the risk of contamination from hydraulic oil and means that the A205 runs at a quiet operational level.Covering a floor space are of just 0.45m² but with a longer pressing cylinder and deeper chamber than the A102, the A205 can create bales up to bales of up to 50kg cardboard and 120kg plastic. The A205 is adaptable to the size of the workspace, slotting seamlessly into smaller workspaces or plugging into the airline in large facilities.
Agro Korn produce animal feed. It is a great example of just how much waste is accumulated in production. A Mil-tek 205 compacts paper sacks, plastic sacks, and big grain bags.
Mitre 10 are a hardware supplies chain in New Zealand. They found that as their business grew, as did the problem of waste. Mil-tek machinery allows them compact large volumes into small balers.
Puratos supply ingredients for the catering industry. They use a Mil-tek 205 allowing them to hygienically compact paper bags in the working area as they are used, saving them time and money and improving efficiency.
A Mil-tek technician will guide you through installation, which is done by simply connecting your new A205 Baler to a compressed air supply. You are now ready to start minimizing your waste.
Fill the chamber with cardboard or plastic and close the door. Once the handle is pressed down, the machine is activated and the minimizing has begun. Repeat until the baler is full.
A Mil-tek consultant will guide you in making this decision. What you need to know is the approximate amount of e.g. cardboard you generate every day, in what stream and in what sizes it comes. In addition to this you should know how much space you have available for a machine. This basic information combined with your business set-up forms the basis for evaluating which model machine you need.
Your internal working processes and the data available on your waste streams will provide you with that answer. Together with Mil-tek, we will ensure you find the optimal spot in your workplace.
Yes it is. Over the last number of years Mil-tek have been a part of a Health and Safety Executive committee that has been committed to creating new improved standards for the safe use of vertical balers. As a result we have made a significant number of improvements to the model A205 in order to comply with EN16500 standards and to ensure safe use for the end-user. As they are air-powered (pneumatic) rather than hydraulic, Mil-tek balers are extremely quiet. If you have an existing air-line you simply plug the machine and then your existing compressor acts as the engine. If you need to have a compressor installed, a Mil-tek technician will ensure that the compressor is placed at a distance from the machine and then install an air-hose between the compressor and the machine.
Ideal for baling plastic packaging typically used in the transportation and protection of clothing and consumable items. Constant pressure ensures an extremely dense bale is produced that is both easy to handle and easy to recycle. The baler can also be used to recycle smaller volumes of cardboard in small/medium supermarkets, convenience stores and general retail outlets.
A constant flow of ingredients arriving in cardboard boxes can account for up to 60% of kitchen waste. The small-footprint A205 baler fits neatly indoors or out to enable baling and recycling of cardboard and plastic. The result is a reduction in waste disposal costs, a reduction in the amount of space designated to waste and a reduction in the number of bin collections and lift frequency.
The A205 baler has a door opening that is perfect for wine, spirit and food boxes. The baler can be located indoors, close to the waste source or outside if space is limited. Being air-powered, the A205 baler can safely be placed in an area where food is prepared as there is no risk of hazardous oil spillage.
