The A305 baler is the third generation of Mil-tek pneumatic balers, featuring revolutionary double-acting cylinder that uses compressed air to both press and release the plate.Running on compressed air means that the A305 is free of hydraulic oil and contains no inherent risk of contamination.Adaptable to compact plastic (175kg), cardboard (100kg) as well as other materials, the A305 has a simple and safe two-handed, bale out mechanism.A floor space footprint of just 0.85m² and an overall height of 2530 mm means that A305 is suitable for most working environments.
Ferguson Plarre Bakehouse is a family-owned bakery in Australia. They partnership with Mil-tek has revolutionised their waste process, facilitating commodity income and reducing their carbon footprint by around 75%.
National Foods is a dairy & beverage company in Australia. Their use of Mil-tek balers helps maximise efficiency, allowing them to recycling 90% of their plastic and cardboard.
Dorset Cereals are a muesli manufacturer and exporter from the UK. They chose a Mil-tek baler to reduce their waste costs and have benefited from its hygienic nature.
A Mil-tek technician will guide you through installation, which is done by simply connecting your A305 Baler to a compressed air supply. You are now ready to start minimizing your waste.
Fill the chamber with cardboard or plastic and close the door. Once the handle is pressed down, the machine is activated and the minimizing has begun. Repeat until the baler is full.
A Mil-tek consultant will guide you in making this decision. What you need to know is the approximate amount of e.g. cardboard you generate every day, in what stream and in what sizes it comes. In addition to this you should know how much space you have available for a machine. This basic information combined with your business set-up forms the basis for evaluating which model machine you need.
Your internal working processes and the data available on your waste streams will provide you with that answer. Together with Mil-tek, we will ensure you find the optimal spot in your workplace.
Yes it is. Over the past number of years Mil-tek have been a part of a Health and Safety Executive committee that has been committed to creating new improved standards for the safe use of vertical balers. As a result we have made a significant number of improvements to the model A305 in order to comply with EN16500 standards and to ensure safe use for the end-user. As they are air-powered (pneumatic) rather than hydraulic, Mil-tek balers are extremely quiet. If you have an existing air-line you simply plug the machine and then your existing compressor acts as the engine. If you need to have a compressor installed, a Mil-tek technician will ensure that the compressor is placed at a distance from the machine and then install an air-hose between the compressor and the machine.
Ideal for baling plastic packaging typically used in the transportation and protection of clothing and consumable items. Constant pressure ensures an extremely dense bale is produced that is both easy to handle and easy to recycle. The baler can also be used to recycle smaller volumes of cardboard in small/medium supermarkets, convenience stores and general retail outlets.
Despite its small footprint, the A305 baler has a large door opening and a deep chamber, enabling whole boxes to be placed directly into the baler. Plastic packaging stored in plastic bag stands can be placed directly into the baler saving time and therefore cost when dealing with packaging waste.
The modern waste technique of segregating and baling packaging waste using strategically placed recycling points has resulted in a significant increase in productivity across a range of organisations. A Mil-tek A305 baler accompanied by a small plastic baler (such as a model A102 or A205 baler), and strategically placed plastic bag stand can vastly improve logistics where a steady stream of packaging waste is created in multiple areas.
